It isn't a bedroom tax either, we've discussed this, Bedroom tax = media / socialist 'spin' headline, its an 'under occupancy adjustment'.....you can't paytax on something you don't actually earn..............!
What is it with the UK ? All we ever seem to do is moan and whinge about the social welfare system as if the system is there as a right of anyone to claim however much they like under any circumstance............IT ISN'T.....its a system under great starin trying to deliver aid and help to those that need it, but that is being targeted by unscrupulous people and non target demographs who ss it as easy pickings........we should be proud of the welfare system, we shouldn't be treating it as a right to free money........so if changes are made to cut our cloth, so be it. Quite right, Mr Reason.
Can we just explode one more "myth" ?
The idea that socialists are caring ?
They don't give a toss about the 5 million currently on the social housing waiting lists - they would sooner have bedrooms standing empty.
So much for their "caring" side .... it's really "sod you - I'm alright" |

I'm all for this so called bedroom tax, why should taxpayers pay for big houses for one person ? I have downsized so many times in the past, when I was working. My girlfriend wanted to me to move in with her so I did.
I agree the benefits system is fantastic if it's not abused and money wasted on booze and drugs. I think the government need to bring back the FJF, the employees still pay tax so it goes back to the government, seems cheaper than the work programme where cost of £5 billion is wasted, on a fail programme.

The Conservative party doesn't want to kill anybody. It wouldn't stand up in court as an accusation levelled at them, so stop with the emotive socialist headline grabbing statements.
