Gnomo Although I found it interesting, I couldn't help wondering about the enormous cost of these appeals, now presumably even more expensive with the cost of TV technicians and broadcasting kit.
All to decide whether a guilty man was 'over sentenced' for fake coins. Gobsmacked that he gets the Prime Minister's brother allocated by 'legal aid'
andrew Anyone can watch a trail in a magistrates court done it 4 times. Kept me warm for couple of hours, it's funny when magistrates get owned.

JK2006 You're quite right Hedda; watched the first session - appalling. The worst thing is the fake courtesy - the pretend over manners - as (I hope) marvellously satirised by me in Vile Pervert: The Musical and Barry Wrister QC.

They began filming Oz court cases about 4 years ago and gave up after one season.
People believe the law is like a Hollywood movie or Daily Mail report or like US court cases...but it's long and boring , even a sensational murder case can be dull.
