JK2006 And check out Surrey Police!
In The Know Perhaps I should also point out that this is South Yorkshire police !

If they are going to start using lie detectors perhaps they should start with their own officers? (who, by conspiring to falsify documents and statements over the Hillsborough disaster are probably part of the biggest attempt to pervert the course of justice that the UK has ever seen?)
Tony May Well, well, well! At last! A subject I am happy to agree with ITK on! (lol)

I am all for those who have genuinely been abused having a chance to be heard and believed in the respect that their claims should be taken seriously but the justice system should have equal responsibility to protect the accused until such time as the evidence against them is proven in a court of law. It may well be traumatic for a genuine victim to have to go through a lie detector test but when a persons public standing/life/job and reputation are at stake it is only fair. I would also go as far as to say that penalties for those accusers whose accusations are eventually proven to be completely without foundation should be increased and that more should be made to publicly shame them in the same way they tried to destroy someone else's life.

Its not about being spiteful its about standing up for the truth and protecting the innocent - whether they are a celebrity or a tramp.
hedda if false accusers convince themselves it happened they will pass.
perhaps all cops should be made to pass a lie detector just as CIA agents have to.
had no idea UK cops were using bogus US methods.
the UK is fucked.
