Is anyone else on Amazon Vine? They asked me a few years ago. I get loads of lovely things for free in return for a review. Twice a month. It's great, but I still don't know why they asked me. It's more mysterious than the Apostles! |

And, in the Savile case, I find it extraordinary that Childline got not one call to the anonymous phone help number about Savile when he was alive.
In fairness most of the allegations were believed to have taken place in the 60s,70s, and early 80s, well before childlike was set up. Although they could have reported historical abuse, most people probably would have thought that they had missed the boat. |

A really bad programme; Panorama might do better exposing how the Savile false allegations industry encouraged thousands to exaggerate or why the media hates the BBC.
We don't actually know if the allegations against savile were false or true for that matter.
There is overwhelming evidence that several of the claims are false, and many more seem quite ludicrous.
I'm just saying that just as the media assume guilt all the time, the people on this site always assume innocence.
I don't, but I think it is indecent to declare someone guilty without proper evidence. |

I certainly don't always assume innocence Robbie and don't believe most others do either. But many of us assume confusion, exaggeration, inflation and police corruption. |
