Three Musketeers was awful, Telstar, All of Nothing, Lesbian Vampire Killers just a mess deserved to be a flop. |

How many? I can't remember more than a handful of films he's been in, let alone good ones. History Boys - good film, he didn't ruin it. The Boat That Rocked - not a good film, he didn't ruin it. The Three Muskateers - not seen it, was it good, did he ruin it? That's about it. Not exactly an 'amazing' list. |

Indeed Pru, one of my favourite scenes. It's shown however that he has form with the wax apple eating as dialogue spoken by Hardy's wife suggests: "That's the third apple that's gone missing this week!".

Yes the steps have survived well. It's built up now on both sides though, there's a plaque near the bottom step commemorating the Music Box film. |

There is one scene (Sons of the Desert, if memory serves) where Stan eats a wax apple. The moment when he realises it's wax, thinks about it, and then carries on eating: sublime. It's the most beautifully acted bit of comedy I think I've ever seen. |
