In The Know I'm with Pru on this.

Obama speaks in phrases ... as if reading exam hints from a crib-card.
Pru The strange thing about Obama is that he's only good at the big speeches. All the other ones he delivers in a horrible, jerky rhythm that makes him sound like he's reading a telegram. Most good orators are just good full stop. He's like some robot who needs cranking up to 'FLUENT' in order to be effective.
andrew If Reagan was here today he could clean up the mess Obama has caused.

Great President and still sadly missed.
JK2006 Yes Reagan was terrific; I met him several times and he was one of the few I felt "I would enjoy a relaxed social dinner with him".

Thank heavens we have one global leader who can make a decent speech.

Hitler was great at speeches.

Reagan was ok at doing a speech.
