JK2006 I was telling Lady L-W that the last time I was sitting next to Andrew at one of his shows was as his guest at the New York Premiere of Phantom (Michael Crawford was sensational).

And just to explain the last post, there's a great number sung by Valerie Hobson (Profumo's wife) and I adored her when I was twelve (1955?) and saw her several times at the Drury Lane theatre just around the corner from the Aldwych when she played Anna to Herbert Lom's King in The King and I.
JK2006 It felt rather strange watching an actress portray Valerie Hobson on stage at the Aldwych when I saw her many times when I was 12, around the corner in Drury Lane starring with Herbert Lom in The King and I!

She married John Profumo.
