It only works if there are enough jobs to go round though. Work creates more work but it will take time.
What I dont understand is how people are turning down jobs and still receiving benefit. How does that make sense?
If wages are going more on travel than bills JC and A4E say don't bother, JC and A4E know people need 30-40 hours to live on and there aren't many of them round these days. Part time jobs I see are only several hours a week.

It also helps if you make a start, honey!
There are now more people in work in the UK than ever before.
Perhaps if she'd spent a little more time actually looking for work (instead of going down dark alleys with black men) her problems would be a bit simpler?
Just a thought .......

It probably makes sense if you are a totally illiterate moron who is expecting a £50K job (when you are not even qualified to wash dishes)
Oh yes, some think that anything below their (two a penny) qualifications is beneath them, but i keep hearing from people on benefits who have TURNED DOWN jobs. Often it's because they cant afford to wait a month for pay when the benefit is messed up, and sometimes because they are actively avoiding work. (and getting away with it)
There is no point in a job service that neither helps or forces people to work.

Some people are better off on the dole than work. You don't have to pay all your rent and council tax, depending where you live there is hardly any jobs going, jobs I can do are hard to reach to as you need own transport to get to these places.
How do you not know she had a job or ex's did ?
