It is the largest employer in the UK (1.7 million people) - in fact its the fourth largest employer in the World (after the Chinese Army, Wal-Mart and Indian railways !)
They treat 1 million people every 36 hours.
It is an astonishingly successful organisation ... even more so when you consider that it is difficult to "manage" (for example - as you never know when casualties will turn-up, its difficult to plan staffing levels).
What exactly would you do to improve it ?

yes - she was very determined (according to David Dimbleby) to have her say (on ANY subject) ! But these "activists" usually are (because they don't go to work so have lots of time on their hands to complain !)
Let me turn the tables on you - what gives HER the right to a public airing ?
Is she a great philanthropist? Does she employ hundreds of people? Does she pay vast amounts of tax ? The answer will be a resounding NO to all those, won't it?
The idea that one person's opinion has the same value as another is absurd.
Different levels of intelligence / different education / different comprehension / and one person may have the facts - which clearly she did not ! Just because you have a GOB does not make what spouts from it right !!!
It reminds me of Mary Beard, who spoke out about misconstrued attitudes on immigration, only to be greeted with a barrage of vile abuse on social media about her personal appearance.
Just what is it that makes people react in this way? You do it quite a lot ITK.
Not going to make any apology about that !
You could see ... by her manner / attitude / demeanor - that she is a persistent "complainer" and probably contributes absolutely nothing !
I'll bet you any sum you like - hedda refused to accept my last bet because he knows I'm right ! Hedda is not as daft as he pretends to be ! - that she has also complained about the "spare room tax" (probably because she keeps her mobility scooter in it) !
When will you people understand - these professional complainers don't give a toss about anyone else but themselves.
They don't care that there are five million on housing waiting lists - they just want their FREE bedroom !
They are always there with their hands out - they never ever contribute - and always expect someone else to foot the bill.
She was an absolute classic example.
As I say downsize and change to private renting, sell possessions for deposit. Had private in work and out of work, girlfriend was lucky to have a council flat. |
