There needs to be a cap on historic sexual abuse. |

Spot on Gnomo; and I didn't do it is SOOO boring (no tabloid story there). Even "I couldn't have done it" is boring. Tragic that 95% of the time, jurors believe the "good story" and convict innocent people until (sometimes) "victims" admit they were lying, inflating or exaggerating.
And remember "You will be believed". |

Reading the reports of the testimony given by Bill Roach, it is frightening what little he is able to say other than "I didn't do it" How can a defendant prove these historical allegations are untrue. When statements by accusers are found to be false, that doesn't seem to matter, and are disregarded or fobbed off as a mistake.
The whole modus operandi of the Police seems to be 'obtain enough accusers' and that makes it true. I an very suspicious that accusers evidence has been 'managed' - in Bill Roach's case the fact that assaults took place in a toilet seems to be the linking factor.
I know that you JK had the same difficulty - even when it was proven the accusers were 'mistaken' in their evidence.
Faith that the Jury will be suspicious of these accusers is all we can hope for |

Joking apart Honey, British Justice (and I suspect ALL human justice) has become a farce. I'm still confused that my Sex Offenders Law tells me I cannot WORK with anyone under 18 yet can have sex with anyone 16 or over. Is that sensible British justice? Alice, pass the croquet balls.
What if a paper boy comes to your door ? |
