JK2006 I adore this series - yes, I would have thought simply painting over the signature would suffice; then it's simply a bad pastiche of a great work.

JK2006 Please don't read on if you haven't watched the show - if you haven't you can catch it on iPlayer - if you care about the result but...

if you have seen it or read the news in the papers, should forgeries of paintings be destroyed? My instinct is - if they cross the line by signing and pretending to be the work of another, yes they should.
JK2006 No point in saying SPOILER because it's been all over the news but this was as good as the other shows in this terrific series (my favourite thing on TV at the moment).
