Tony May I didn't see the first (or prior) series so I'm kind of enjoying the series. The only thing I would say though is that most of the plots are pretty easy to work out who the murderer is. The 'how' is sometimes a bit more tricky but the 'why' is very thinly disguised. This said, I am the most suspicious - see something that is not there - merchant this side of Newport Pagnell (as Morrissey would say!) so maybe that's it?

Love any detective thing - Sherlock - Elementary - Frost especially.
Pru I agree. His eyes always look as they're about to pop out. That's not pleasant. Ben Miller was wonderfully tetchy and neurotic. The girl is still lovely - why isn't she yet a star in movies? - and 'Cat' from Red Dwarf is quite watchable, but otherwise it's getting a bit Midsomer Murders (without the weird religious cults, but that's probably next!).
JK2006 I really don't think it works with Kris Marshall instead of Ben Miller; there's no chemistry and it's very contrived now.
