Kev The Look Of Mitchell & Webb that is the highlight for meAs a comedy pair I think they're great. They did some TV series where they were living in neighbouring flats which was good and I thought the smoking room was good too. I've also seen them on quiz shows etc. and found them to be very funny.

But this sketch show seems a bit dated to me and they milk the gags too much. Many sketches would be funnier if only they were shorter, like the quiz show "Hole In the Ring" or whatever it was last night. If they'd have cut it right after he stuck his finger up it would have been great, but then it went on asking people questions which just wasn't funny.
Kev I'm still enjoying it but find myself feeling sorry for Andy so much I'm not laughing. I also can't help thinking that he'd be much better off if he didn't tell Maggie so much and sacked his agent, but most of the humour/predicaments come via that route. Maybe it's a bit too obvious?

BTW, I just love Stephen Merchant in it. Just the way he looks makes me laugh, but his expressions are priceless.
Vince W I loved the bit where Sir Ian McKellen explained to Andy all about acting, classic!

I must say whilst enjoying the series it's the following program The Look Of Mitchell & Webb that is the highlight for me!

That's Numberwang!
JK2006 There were several totally surreal moments (the toilet not flushing for example and Andy's stage kiss) but it really is an odd series.
I admire it for stretching the envelope but it seems to have lost the humour.
