Cricket is a fine game. Or is it sport in general you chaps disapprove of?

The most popular game on earth is soccer - played in every country, all 2009. The only one to do so.

In the summer, the World Cup - from Brazil, will entertain 2b of us humans.

About a quarter of our planet's population.

Cricket is a fine game indeed, just a shame most games are on Sky and kids don't know the rules or even play it these days unless they are Asian. There many T20 competitions that can be shown on FTA.

Football is the sport on the planet by far leagues in almost every country. Just a shame BBC pundits and commentators are getting worse, Robbie Savage was not even a great player and not a good pundit either. England doubt they get passed the group stage, more fool England fans who spend thousands seeing them.

The IPL starts soon and county games are away, it's one of the benefits being on the dole to watch county cricket during the week, wonder what ITK thinks lol ?

I think we already know the answer to that! but to be fair, it does go on a long time.
A very handsome butcher took me to a cricket match when I was eighteen. I suffered a whole day of polite smiles and clapping and I was just congratulating myself for managing to appear interested, when he announced that the next part of the game was to be played the next day and I was expected to go along. I accidentally shrieked "Good lord you have got to be joking..This has been the worst day of my life!" And I never saw him again.

Just be glad that ITV ditched plans to show county cricket, the plan was to show it everyday throughout the season, not even Sky would do that.
