The Cambodian charges came[i] after[/i] intense media pressure ( GG avoided the most serious charges by [i]legally [/i]paying 2 families thousands $$).
## Cambodia is a place to avoid like the plague : the corruption there is now endemic and it's been fostered by hundreds of powerful Western NGOs aided by powerful Cambodian criminal gangs.
