JK2006 Once you allow people to voice whether they want to stay or go (referendums are absurd; democracy does not work) you have a recipe for disaster.

If we allowed the British to decide what they wanted to be, there would be four nations and various split offs. Isle of Wight joins Jersey?

Who cares about any of it? Get on straightening out economy, health care, education, benefits, immigration and try to find decent people to run the key areas.

Which, sadly, knowing human nature, will end in selfish corruption. Libya, Egypt, Tunisia...
