JK2006	Good thinking Pru and the Chief Constable at the time was Denis O'Connor who came across on Leveson as extremely slippery, so probably wouldn't have wanted to put his name on anything likely to come back to haunt him. He's now, like Marjoram, the man responsible for failing to find Levi Belfield, retired. But the middle man, Denholm, currently Assistant CC in Hampshire, strikes me as the perfect candidate.
Pru	Given that Clifford's habit (when boasting) was to volunteer names when they were genuinely the top people, and settle for being vague when the names belonged to underlings, I suspect his ambiguous references mean the letter didn't come from the top. That's mainly why I suspect it's a lesser name.
JK2006	Or his boss at the time Craig Denholm (ask the Dowler family about him). Or even the Head of Surrey Police at the time?
