Didn't watch it myself. The trailers put me off, and I was never a fan of Captain Jack ... or RTD.

Some very well handled Whovian corss over bits, without being overly intrusive.

Cardiff as a centre of weirdness is something I can see. The great Orwellian Pebble of the Millenium Centre works well as the backdrop for Torchwood 3.

I did like the 'Babylon 5' nod about the missing 'Torchwood 4'

I hope RTD can keep the pace on both Who and Torchwood...
