I'm sure I read that when she decided to stop chemo, she was hoping for one last Christmas.

Very sad, but she was lucky in that she was prepared for it, and well enough to work only a few days before.
Much better to go quickly.

Sad news; she was a sparkling, bright, funny woman. One of the awful things about getting old is watching others pass away.
