I'm afraid, having caught the end of XF and then IACGMOOH, my overwhelming feeling was "tired formats".

It's an incredibly easy gig for Ant and Dec. Even a studio-manufactured double act like them can work out, at their leisure, about four gags per night, even if they do seem to need, more and more each year, the 'spontaneous' laughter of their Australian crew to jolly them along.
The show is the worst of those that insist on getting a participant to tell us, every few minutes, what we just saw for ourselves. Do they think everyone has ADD? I guess, seeing as it's aimed at a typical ITV audience, they do.

I thought last night's show was one of the best openers for years. Ant and Dec make the show watchable, and they keep it fresh. Whilst those two present it, and they manage to get interesting "celebrities" I - and millions of others will continue to tune in. (In fact, I'd say selecting the celebrities who appear on the show is the key to its continued success). I gather Edwina Curry is in the wings to join the show. And Melanie Sykes should walk it to claim the crown.

On first (and probably only) view - Tinchy for me.
Ant and Dec are still good though.
Craig Charles for me. I am fighting to stay awake, and what is going on with Dec's jacket? It's hideous!
