I mean I wanted dad & mum running through the fields at the end with Oliver looking surprised and then recognising dad's big ears and a joyful re-uinon as the 3 embrace and whirl around in a gorgeous palette of colourful flowers especially after all that doom & gloom and greyness (filmed in winter?)
but the actors were excellent.
buggered if I'm going to sit through another series if it ends like that.
Nor me!
James Nesbitt was excellent, but he has the smallest ears in the world.

Most unsatisfactory. I'm well pissed off now.
I was annoyed too, especially when the BBC commented on twitter that Ollie was dead and his father refused to accept it.

It wasn't explained why the hotel landlord would confess and expose his own brother's crime, or why the police didn't spot blood and tyre screeches on the road, or why the Romanian child traffickers would kill a child rather than sell it on, or why nobody seemed bothered about the (?)murderer getting away with it.
