Jo Watching that video, I had a feeling I'd come across the idea of people trying to break each other's legs as a means of escape somewhere before. but might be mistaken. All the same, couldn't help but have the image of wide-eyed police officers tucked up in bed being told scary stories.

JK2006 But looking closer it's clear there are several factors here. An increase in false allegations. An increase in grooming by police and CPS ("you will be believed"). A change in interpretation (these days "hello" is considered rape). A massive increase in trawl by media ('cos it's a great story).

Or, alternatively, we've suddenly become a nation of Vile Perverts.
