A girl I worked with once asked me to "lend" (I always give) her twenty pounds for cigarettes in the lunch break and led me into a dark and seedy pub where she bought a huge box from a spiv in a cravat. she said "everyone" buys knock off cigarettes. I used to Callis a lot as a foot passenger, as I used to live Dover I was always given coupons by people. All spivs I knew were in Southend and Polish baccy galore over there.
