Seems to be going backwards now
Indeed.
hedda the porn merchant ... the mind boggles !
(perhaps that where he gets his cross-dressing fetish from? )

despite Pace being one of those self appointed 'survivor advocates' the obits make interesting reading.
What stands out is that nothing was ever proved about Hayman and actually PIE wasn't an illegal organisation.
The porn could have been anything..perhaps like the stuff I sold in Notting Hill when I ran the Man to Man shop while my pal was in jail for tax evasion. It was all illegal as was the porn sold in West End Adult stores.
The police raided every 2 months and took away all the stock at which time I hired a van and went to an East End lock-up to replenish it..magazines- the most popular were Men In Leather..cost around 30p to produce and sold for 12 quid or more so the profit margin was huge.
##having been handed the keys to the shop as my fiend was whisked away to Brixton I took it upon myself to layout several magazines that were awaiting production...one being quite hideous middle aged blokes in cheap leather whipping each etc.
Knowing the printer was waiting I went back late at night after numerous drinks to complete the task and put the completed mags at the front desk for the courier to collect.
When the printed magazines arrived the pages were upside down, sideways, some at very weird angels with some photos half of the page and weirdly a n advert for a cooking school from a women's mag had got mixed up in it...pics of a lady in an apron..They sold like hot cakes with one elderly gentlemen..possibly a Tory from the House of Lords returning to request another with it's "unique and exciting new layout style"
( and the owner's prediction was true- over the next 2 weeks young good looking coppers from the raid would come back in plain clothes. lurk about, buy a mag and meet up with a similar minded gentleman.)
Note his conviction was for meeting up with a lorry driver..similar to George Michael in Hampstead Heath but my, haven't times changed.
This file, if anything, just shows the hysteria of the times including the 1980s when we actually Britain had become slightly more mature.
Or did they simply keep a file on him (like everyone else) ?
I think its becoming clear that this file should never have been released to the National Archives, and was accidentally discovered by a researcher.

the very best conspiracy theories are built on 10% fact and 90% hysterical nonsense.
The Hayman revelation would have to be the greatest anti-climax of the year after the so-called researcher announced dramatically his discovery which had fanatics frothing at the mouth believing the 'file' would reveal HM The Queen really had stolen Canadian children on a Royal visit and Leon Brittan had throttled a dozen rent boys during an orgy at Elm Guest House(a dreary old B&
Dicken's dossiers were a compilation of names from anonymous letters sent to him by JK's Green Ink Brigade who had heard from someone at the pub who knew someone down the road whose plumber told him/her Brittan was a secret Tory.
As JK rightly points out the existence of the file actually vindicates Maggie and as for so-called MI6 / MI5 "covering things up" with their famous D-Notices not one plonker has twigged to the fact nor do the media publicise it- D-Notices are voluntary and non-enforceable which is why the real layer of secrecy is the Official Secrets Act as signed by Hedda for a 3 month job in the Middle East in 1981.
Furthermore.. (part 2) during the Stalinist re-write of Modern British History not a word has been spoken about (and the media /fanatics will pick up on it now ..but please note..reported on KingofHits first)...recall the case of my late friend Vicky de Lmabrey, the colourful transgender hooker who stole the wallet of ex-MI6 boss Sir James Dunnet after an "encounter" in Shepherds Market.
read Wikipedia account- authored by Hedda: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vicky_de_Lambray
When Vikki was prosecuted in 1980 the case was front page news for a week or so with Sir James' name bandied all over the place, Russian spies involved & God's knows what else.
