I can't understand why anyone would PAY for yesterday's news, when online they can get today's news FREE !
Can't be long, surely till the advertisers topple entirely towards online (annoying though they are) |

Big Business will always be pro-Tory because they will always pay less tax under a Conservative (led ) government. The huge donations made to the Tories will also influence future policy despite what they claim. Big Biz is not in any way interested in a fair(er) society, just in making and keeping as much money as possible. Not that there is anything wrong with the profit motive if it is applied fairly and universally. Tax should be paid in the country profits are earned. Will the EU ever tackle this problem?
The Tories did away with EMA which helped poorer young people whilst slashing the rate of tax to 45% from 50 for top earners. The bedroom tax has disrupted the lives of a lot of genuinely needy people. They now seek to apply totally different democratic standards to strike ballots than general elections. Still the Nasty Party.
... and WHO do you think PAYS for the handouts you list ? Certainly not the scroungers !!!!
MORE people in work than ever before (and if they were capable of something better they would get it)
Labour's debt being (too slowly) paid off (if Labour win next time you can forget ALL benefits - as no one would be daft enough to loan Britain any money ! Has Greece (and Portugal, Spain, Ireland) escaped you?
... and as for the bedroom "tax". Five million of social housing waiting lists. SOD THEM ! say the scroungers, I'm alright, Jack ! |

Who will win the on-line war? Not News Corp i reckon as he was too late getting in to it and Rupert's on-line papers are woeful.
Mail & Guardian are winners ( Guardian cashed up & could go on for 50 years)
Express, Mirror, Star etc and the godawful Sun competing for same market..I reckon they will canibalise each other's audience.
Fortunately for ITK, Mail does superb pictures. With lot's of colour. Newsagent could just wave it at ITK..colour & movement, and curse Ed..ITK go on happy as Larry/
Mrs ITK go on shopping spree. |

Going back to the topic of the thread, I'd suggest nobody pays any attention to the Sunday papers. Their agenda is printing good stories. Truth has nothing to do with it.
I don't understand why anyone buys papers anymore.
Any idea of circulation figures these days ? |
