Compared to the false claims, market-driven NSPCC, plus MWTWat & Co.
Here's the worthy Anna's TRUE statistics on common-as-muck False Allegations.
" A year ago, the head of the NSPCC’s sexual abuse programmes, Jon Brown, claimed that: Deliberately false or malicious accusations {against teachers} are rare […] I know many teachers, especially men, are petrified of false allegations and the damage it could do to their career, but the statistics do not back this up.
Today we have a new definition of ‘rare’. ‘Rare’ apparently means 1 out of every 3 teachers. Over a third of the teaching population. 38%. However you like to put it."

Francis Wheen, deputy editor of Private Eye is the prizewinning author of a much translated biography of Karl Marx; he also won the Orwell Prize (prize irony there..) for his collected journalism, and is a regular panellist on high-profile UK satirical shows The News Quiz and Have I Got News for You? He also penned a biography of one-time "adultophile" Tom Driberg an MP who, when he was just 13, paid a tramp for sex! In the 1940s, Driberg was charged with indecent assault after two men shared his bed. He later used his influence as a journalist several times to avoid charges when caught soliciting in public toilets by the police.

Parris came out in a late-night debate in the House of Commons in 1984. He later also announced he was gay in one of his weekly newspaper columns. In a live interview on Newsnight during the Ron Davies scandal of 1998, he told interviewer Jeremy Paxman that there were two gay members of the then current Labour Cabinet, one being Peter Mandelson. He has stated that there are between thirty and sixty unannounced gay members of the British Parliament. In August 2010, in a list compiled by the Independent on Sunday, Parris was voted the 49th most influential LGBT person in Britain.
In August 2006, Parris entered into a civil partnership with his long-term partner, Julian Glover, a speech writer for David Cameron and a former political journalist at The Guardian.
