cillas big arse	Johnny Allen Hendrix was born in Seattle, Washington on November 27, 1942. Throughout the first few years of his childhood Johnny was shuffled from relative to relative because neither his mother Lucille, nor his father, who was in the military at the time, could properly care for him. In 1945, Al Hendrix returned to Seattle and discovered that his son had been named Johnny Allen. This news did not make Al very happy since he had not been consulted over his over his son's name. On September 11, 1946, Johnny Allen's name was officially changed to James Marshall by his father.
JK2006	Well I shall have to have words with him when next we meet about him fibbing about his age - to the man who played him Hey Joe, no less!!
zooloo	Wikipedia agrees with what I've been told- as do others but they're rubbish websites 27 Nov 1942 - Johnny Allen Hendrix born at 10:15 am, King County Hospital, Washington (No idea why but... 11 Sept 1946 Name legally changed to James Marshall Hendrix.)
JK2006	I'm about to be 62 and always thought he was far younger than me. Certainly more naive!
