I read that as well.
Let`s put a whole perspective on "blame" and "witch-hunt", which does include "allegations."
Teachers and carers simply have no powers of discipline anymore, I am not playing advocate on this article, if a student misbehaves, there is nothing you can do about, if a student need solace, ditto.
The whole care issue needs a shake up and full investigation, there are bad people out there, but the wrong people take it in the neck everytime, and are scared as a result.
Who would be a teacher when you cannot even get insurance for a school trip and are in fear of any accusations flying?
One untrue and unfounded accusation and that`s one career finished.
I applaud this article, and in writing this, with scathing attacks on staff being as they are, somebody is bound to asking the question, what is the author hiding?
