After the answer got to "She would have wanted it" and the absurdity of that argument became apparent they become very unchristian indeed.
The Cat I believe it was a tv show aimed at those of the Christian faith, and based around the Christmas story, so don't worry about it JK. I'd certainly never knock a person's faith, especially if it brings them comfort and does no harm to others.
