Grandpa Harley	By way of an addendum, the chap who did the PM may as well have left me to do it with a can opener... observer.guardian.co.uk/uk_news/story/0,,1879734,00.html He's not exactly 'competent' when finding COD... you have to be pretty dumb, and I mean fence post dumb (according to a mate of mine who is a pathologist), to miss a violent rape.
Grandpa Harley	Based on the catalogue of injuries he'd been given solid kicking and was pretty ripped up internally. It was reported at the time. Normally, even if it had been rough, the police wouldn't have added the Sexual Assault charge... it's hard enough to get the Rozzers to take sexual assault mano-a-mano seriously...
steveimp	The tabloids today refer to "serious anal injuries". But then thats the tabloids for you....
Al	Had he been sexually assaulted? or had he engaged in willing sex? Without him to tell us, we can never know for certain. DNA cannot answer that question.
Grandpa Harley	I pondered that... there has been the introduction of new DNA profiling techinques and the dead man had been sexually assualted... a sample that 5 years ago that was 'too degraded' (Chlorine does all sorts of damage to DNA) may no longer be so....
