Martin Verily, in the season of goodwill, it was decreed due to my blatant tiredness, that I should have food cooked for me yesterday and take a day off.
Not a problem one might think. My lot here, are such a punch of nibblers, that ALL the mozzarella had been eaten before the pasta bake they were making required it as its topping, the ham had been eaten apart from a small slice as well. Most of the ragu had dissapeared before being paired with the pasta.
Too many cooks!
Basically they eat anything in front of them, bless `em.
Hence, no food post, no food to report!
On a similar note, and not for the faint hearted, I made chicken liver pate a couple of months back, which I had not done before, I chopped the livers up, and went to wash my hands. I turned around to see the shocking sight of my partner with bulging cheeks and her mouth shut mumbling the words "I couldnt resist it!"
As for my mushroom gravy when I make it, it`s amazing any of it even makes the table, I do admire a chef that can put weight on.

A very hungry Martin, wet and windy, by the airport.
