That's what I thought Martin. "Why now?".

Perhaps some people are keeping a diary of "milestones" in another person's life.

I read the online petition and there is a lot hatred there, the sort of hatred that clouds judgement and eats away at the hater. It's not helpful for anyone.
Satan Claws Alan McGee is a F***ing idiot! Why doesn't he shut his cake hole and concentrate on trying to win some awards himself, rather than trying to take other peoples away!!

Richie Stance McGees been on Radio 6 and Radio Scotland going on about it. I was under the impression that the Man Of The Year award changed to the Music Industry Trust Award in 1998. I maybe totally wrong on this.
