Chris Rock'N'Roll & Leader Of The Gang are huge tunes that arguably belong to the public, played and chanted at sports events worldwide. I Didn't Know I Love You Til I Saw You Rock'n'Roll, Doin' Alright With The Boys etc are classics, and in America were they are better known as homegrown cover versions. I don't believe music should be judged years for the misdemeanors of it's creators. You don't ever hear Chuck Berry being banned from the airwaves, and he has been convicted of many a sexual felony and by all accounts is a very dislikeable character; there are many other similar examples... It makes you wonder: if the Pete Townshend case had gone tits-up for whatever reason, would they have attempted to consign The Who to the backwaters of rock history???
Many artists and showmen are deeply flawed individuals - hell, if Phil Spector is found to be guilty of murder will we all have sacrifice the glorious music he made???

Amused not one to duck criticism!
david I completely disagree with the article. Having a criminal record is one thing, abusing 11 year old girls is something else. We don't want to hear his records.

And as for you, you might not be a paedophile, but you're still a pervert.
