In The Know << The moral of your post >>> ???

The "moral" is - Don't be a slimy little politician who says one thing and does the other (telling outright lies along the way!)
walter sobchak The morals to your post would appear to be don't repeat other peoples errors, be careful whose material you cut and paste to make your point and check your facts.
A lot of people in the music biz once declared that they hoped they would present to see Levy get his comeuppance.
Now that he appears to be on the verge of losing any last vestige of respectability,
One wonders if any of them really care.
And no, I can't see too much similarity with Watergate, but that's probably another thread...
In The Know Not me that (may) have got it wrong, Walter !

The original post (above) was a cut and paste from BBC News !

Re - loans vs donations ... either is ILLEGAL if you were induced to make one in order to get a Peerage.

Just like Tricky Dickie at Watergate - they couldn't get him on the original charge (as he had wiped the tapes) but they did nail him on the conspiracy charges (to cover it all up) - I have a feeling that there are some very worried people in No 10.
Walter Sobchak You have that story completely the wrong way round, In the Know. The whole point about this story is that the monies to the Labour Party election funds were 'loaned', not donated. Loans do not have to be declared, donations do.
Mart Didn`t they like the other patsy?
