Do you really expect to find classy intelligent stuff in The Mirror? |

There are other reasons for circulation plummeting, "eee by `eck when I were a lad:laugh:" , we would have to arrive at the paper shop to start our rounds at 6 am, to ensure the papers were delivered for people going to work, this is now no longer legal with younger workers, which means the chances of getting a paper before the majority of car based commuters leave is rather low.
The lack of smokers has probably hit sales as well, in days gone, I remember as a kid, whilst setting my round up,there was a regular customer base which were there ,every morning, and the paper was an extra to go with a packet of cigarettes.
I would be infuriated here, if my regular 8.30 papers arrived at that, now normal, time and I had to be at work then, nobody wants a morning paper in the evening.
But apart from all that, I sadly find I have started to become a headline reader, and this is not good for journalism. There must be thousands like myself. |

And today, so taken with the "hilarious" pics of Blair, the Mirror devotes an entire page to celebrities ten years ago compared to now.
How people look ten years older.
Real classy, intellectual, intelligent stuff.
No wonder circulations are plummeting. |

Tony Blair looks ten years older than he did in 1997!!
Sometimes I wonder about the sanity of our nation. |
