In The Know The media is full of stories that 2 of the people arrested in the Midlands last week (on suspicion of "kidnapping" a soldier) have been released.

The BBC News website even carries the following [quote]Police said it was "normal" for people to be released without charge at this stage in "complex criminal inquiries". [unquote]

The truth is that the police had applied to the Court to extend their detention - but a District Judge turned this down and ordered their immediate release !!!
