Those wacky Dutch & Germans. Wacky hair.

While others were around banging their heads away to Punk in the 70s I was hoovering up these wonderful entertainers (in the privacy of my living room & wearing Lederhosen)
md I wonder if it was Stafke Fabri who inspired another popular Dutch entertainer, Rudi Carrell to perform this song in German (the openings sound very similar):

hedda well spotted Andy and it is indeed one of my favourite songs of all time.

And the wonderful Stafke Fabri who sadly we lost in 2006..wot a performer and what inimitable style...inspired so many..Chuck Berry, The Nolan Sisters, Jonathan King, Mick Jagger, Bob Dylan and Charles Hawtrey.
