JK2006 I think we'll all be watching the General Election with interest Paul. If there is a change, it will affect far more than just silly Brexit.
PaulB it ain't over till it's over, but

the feeling around Darlington - one of the swing seats, in the north east - is that the Tories will win it back next month.

Labour's traditional heartland is also very pro brexit. The locals are putting the future of their country before anything else.

It's just across a few fields from me, so I'll be watching Darlington with interest.

andrew The FA gives millions to grassroots football clubs. The money the teams get is to mainly to keep their head above water. There are thousands of Sunday league teams and dozens and dozens of leagues good luck trying to save all of them. Clubs are always finding ways to raise money from usually novelty things.

ECB are heavily investing in grassroots cricket from TV deals. The new T20 league will do wonders for village cricket.
