What does the go-between role involve and does it affect the evidence and how it is collected, especially if it is anecdotal? Is it appropriate for a journalist to act as go-between, especially if the evidence is anecdotal?
What does the language used say about his approach? Is it conducive to a fair justice system? Who are "we"? Was he collaborating with someone? If so, in what capacity?
