Spee 18 dead, and 30 injured.

There is a possibility that the rear of the coach was on fire, before impact with the truck.

Cause of accident remains uncertain, as investigation continues.

Speed does not appear to be a factor.
Spee Two points are significant (to me).

A substitute/relief bus driver was on board the bus - making fatigue less likely.

In addition, the bus seemed to burn fast - leaving only the bare structure.
JK2006 I know that section of road in Bavaria so well; I've travelled along it on my way up from Italy so many times.
