hedda	and as Hedda correctly claimed: the image promoted of Corbyn was at odds with how I perceived him and figured millions of others would : a well meaning "neighbor next door type" who would willingly help out and who had no hidden agendas rather than return Britain to what it was 30 years ago...a welfare nation with a good NHS etc etc. His policies, love or loathe them were articulated. I came to this view because of the hysterical hate directed towards him by the media which they would not have done if they had not had exactly the same thoughts as us ..that Corbyn was a real threat to the Tories. One Giant Furphy perpetuated which was balderdash.. that somehow Corbyn was "turning the clock back" when in fact that was exactly what New Labour and the Tories had done by creating a hopeless Market Economy based on lunatic Milton Friedman flawed economics ( Margaret Thatcher's idol)which time and time agian had shown over the past 150 years led to boom and bust. The ridiculous "Market Economy" is not Capitalism.. Capitalism can work if it is rigidly regulated.. And Corbyn or similar will be the growing breed of politicians around the world as Donald Trump now intends to dismantle the Federal Reserve and remove all financial controls on US Banks and institutions which is what led to the Great Depression. As he reduces the US to a country no longer trusted or viewed as a world leader, Vladimir Putin's wet dream of a dismantled EU and neutered US are coming to fruition.
JK2006	No surprise to me; just as the General Election result was predicted here (though I said a tiny Tory majority; not a minority).
