Fleet Street Editor Amazed that you haven't been contacted to write your exclusive revelations about the Phone Rig Scandal for one of the broadsheets.

In my day we would have been jamming your line with requests and offers!
Mart Hi Anthony, what I was voting for was who would be the British entry, from those that had been selected.
Anthony Maybe you were voting on the Song For Europe, Mart, but there was definitely no phone voting in the 1995 contest. Trust me, I'm a very very sad man who knows these things about Eurovision!

I was on the UK jury myself back in 1984 as a youngster. Or was it 1884?
Mart There was definetly phone voting on the Love City Groove year as I recall voting from a quiz night I was on from a payphone.
JK2006 I may be confused here. I remember my FIRST priority was to change the rules on backing tracks (after Love City Groove did so badly). Then I shifted over to phone votes and thought we tested it in 4-5 countries in 96, then grew it in 97 but you may be right Anthony.

I'm getting old, Alzheimers, senility, tired, 62...
