Those are interesting articles. The system does seem to be in a real mess.

A comment on M W narcissistic Thomas on his twitter feed blaming officers involved but what he does not say is what he is blaming.
1 they ruined the conviction by not fully investigating.
2 they aided the false allegations
3 they tried hard to fish for victims of something that never happened but it was a cushy number anyway for them

As it starts accelerating, read this article; I suspect the journalists and the editors are well aware of why there are so few prosecutions of false accusers - because police and CPS have assisted them and want to avoid the spotlight which could lead to them losing their jobs, at least, and ending up in prison, at best.
