Just went to IT! - disappointing; as happens to so many Stephen King books - the sensational story has been turned into a decent teen horror movie where the novel is so much more. I think the worst mistake was removing the contrasting Adult element. Not good. Not bad either but I am such a fan of his writing.

I agree, I found it too long and boring. Very good effects and a few jump scares but not much else. Some good performances from the character playing the pennywise character and the red haired girl, but not much else going for it.

I never liked the mini-series from the 90s either starring Richard Thomas (john-boy Walton in the waltons).
andrew Is Henry Bowers, twisted and deranged like he is in the book ?

The miniseries was good but great.
