Anne They did - much to the annoyance of some!
Anne Happened twice too - I took a photo!
TBS The BBC skipped an entire edition (originally broadcast June 21st 1984) due to Mr Glitter being the opening act and thus impossible to edit out.
Well knock me down with a feather Gary Glitter was mentioned in the top 40 rundown on the 1984 Top of The Pops rerun on BBC4 Friday evening.
How did that slip through?

But why should it not be mentioned.
Dance me up is the single but I doubt we will the the double G perform.
