JK2006 It's been a great month or so catching up with numerous old friends. Long nostalgic lunches and gossip about friends from over 50 years ago. Some dating back to Cambridge University days. Mainly Entertainment and Journalism people. One of the great things about getting old. Chat over Mojitos and Cauliflower Cheese last night with Virginia Ironside - still very active as an Agony Aunt. Valerie Grove (at Cambridge with me) wrote a brilliant interview with Geoffrey Palmer last year to celebrate his 90th birthday - researching the actor for my crusade to have him knighted I came across it and we lunched as a result. If you're not catching As Time Goes By (7.20pm Weekdays on Ch20 Drama) do watch it; every show is a gem. It has really enhanced my life over the past months.
