JK2006	You can imagine how I feel - one of the very first victims of the "Celebrity Paedo" witch hunt 18 years ago. People point at Savile. Then at Cliff. But I was a major celebrity in 1999 - about to become Global Chairman of EMI Records. A marvellous target for bent cops, greedy media and blood thirsty lawyers. Targeted, at the request of Max Clifford, by people who had spent years in institutions.
hedda	awful to hear a BBC hack call him a "celebrity pedo" which just shows how the media is as vulnerable to gossip and innuendo as the general public. Of course endless non powerful people have been wrongly convicted and just don't have the financial resources Cliff has. But there is something very symbolic and incredibly evil in the way they went for a man in his later years..someone who gives so much pleasure to millions. It reminds me of the 60s when the police just loved to nab a celebrity and try and bring them down a peg or two.
JK2006	This has gone on for years but Cliff's case throws a spotlight on it (many of his false accusers were criminals) - the "Nick" case upcoming is further extraordinary proof - if he had NOT "been believed" millions of wasted money and man hours could have been avoided. Further trials will expose accusers as child rapists and even killers. As this dawns on both media and public - jaws are dropping. Especially when lawyers and judges encourage this. VILE!
