Yes, very sad to hear about Alan. He seemed such a nice guy. Saw him at the Bay City Rollers reunion gig about 18 months ago with Les and Woody. Very entertaining show, I don't even remember them in their hey day, but they made some great pop singles including a number one in America and two in the uk.

Bay City Roller Alan Longmuir dies
Alan Longmuir, a founding member of the Bay City Rollers, has died.
The Edinburgh-born musician died in hospital at 06:00 on Monday, surrounded by his family.
He was flown home from Mexico three weeks ago after falling ill on holiday.
