JK2006	Yes - overwhelmingly European friends cannot believe what happened to me in a "civilised" society. But it is also the incompetence. I really do not believe that Surrey Police deliberately are leaving me on the SIRENE list but there was no reason for me to be on it in the first place; the allegations were from 48 years ago, for God's sake, and they knew I would never abscond. But to leave me on it, occupying the time and effort of EU border staff with far more important tasks to attend, is not just lazy but almost criminal. Next time a terrorist attack takes place in Britain and can be attributed to a terrorist who entered the country under the radar, blame Surrey Police.
