JK2006 I remember being with her in, I think, Texas and she was almost dead with 'flu but still went on and gave a cracking performance. She could hardly speak during our interview. Incredible lady.

JK2006 One of my favourite people in music; met her many times over the decades and found her very nice and quite astonishingly resilient. Her interviews for the new book are enchanting. A super lady - simply the best!
